TONE: PINK
I've been obsessing over pink for a couple of months now since both my Instagram and Pinterest feeds have been saturated in this colour, mainly blush pink. Quoted from Interior Designer Sophie Robinson on her page "Colour Crush:Pink" she believes that pink is very close to being our next beige but I highly doubt it will ever get as boring as beige. There are so many hues of pink that could be explored that I believe that each room you meet that involves pink, is highly enjoyable and different, compared to the next pink room you may find.
Pinks can be paired with SO many colours as well, from your deep dark navy to your banana leaf print green and then to your concrete greys. There are so many opportunities to contrast this colour with, keeping your interiors forever changing with a new lick of paint without breaking the bank!
I understand painting walls all one strong colour can be scary for many (me included!) but pink and copper accessories are the perfect way of incorporating this colour, without jumping into the deep end of a pink coloured pool.
My favourite pink accessory that I've seen on Instagram from @comedowntothewoods is their roll top bath, which they've paired with a chequered floor tile and a very yummy navy semi-panelling (pictured below).
There are so many choices when working with pink, but it's such an exciting colour that shouldn't be seen as a risk, but instead a very enjoyable pink challenge.

Baker-Miller Pink was used in the 1970s in America to decrease the wave of drug epidemics and the increasing violence rates. Alexander G. Schauss coated "the walls, ceiling and ironwork of the cell" in Baker-Miller Pink. The result being that no incidents were reported in the next 156 days.
