CORRUGATED TEXTURES
MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2018
Textures were prominent across the exhibitions and districts, whether that be as part of the furniture and products or the design of the stand. The ability to touch and engage with the product existed in lots of products, the sense of really experiencing an item rather than it being placed in a room. Corrugation was a popular texture amongst furniture and products. Corrugation adds a new height to an item as well as offering a strong visual to an often 2 dimensional surface. The most common choice of material for corrugation was plastic and glass.
